Prayer Requests |

"Be careful for nothing; but in everything by
prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests
be made known unto God." Phil 4:6. Pastor
Williams would like to join you in lifting up your petitions
and supplications and intercede on your behalf in his
communion time with the Lord. Please complete your
prayer request form and place it in the Prayer Request Box. |

The Children's Nursery |
|
The Children's Nursery is now open for
children ages 1 to 6. The nursery is located on the
lower level of the Administrative Building. Hours are
9:45am to 12 noon. |
|

Bible Study |
|
You are invited to attend one of our
Wednesday Bible Studies. Noon Bible Study has resumed
studying the Acts of the Apostles. Evening Bible
Study, taught by Pastor Williams at 7:00pm, is studying
"Through the Bible in One Year Volume 2" by Stringfellow.
"Study to show thyself approved unto God..." (2 Tim 2:15). |

Small Group Ministry |
|
The third session of the Small Group Ministry
meets every Monday in your local home area. The groups
are studying "Understanding Financial Stewardship" by
Charles Stanley. For additional information about a
group in your area, please call the church office. |

Feeding Ministry |
|
We will be serving the following days during
the month of April: April 15th at the Oasis Clinic;
April 24th, our Sick and Shut-In. For any additional
information, you can e-mail

Music Ministry |
|
"It came to pass, as the trumpeters and
singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in
praising and thanking the Lord..." 2 Chronicles 5:13-14.
The Ward AMEC Music Ministry would like to thank Pastor and
Mrs. Williams, members and friends for the support you
extended to us as we continue our efforts to emphasize
"Evangelism through Music." We pray that our Black
History Concert demonstrated that we take our ministry and
your support seriously. Again, thank God for our gifts
and thank you for your continued support. |

Karate Classes |
|
Karate classes are held every Saturday from 10:00am to 11:45am
at the World Championship Karate Sports Academy, 2027 West
Jefferson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90018. For further

Health Ministry |
|
Every 3rd Sunday, Blood Pressure Screening will be available
between 9:15am and 9:45am. |

Commission on Christian Education (CCE) |
|
Lakers' Youth Clinic: Youth ages
8 to 15 are invited to participate in a monthly Lakers Youth
Clinic. This clinic is free to all participants.

Educational Enrichment Program:
If you are interested in improving or developing your skills
in Math (basic math to calculus), English, Spanish, Culinary
Arts, or you are in high school and would like to receive
help preparing for the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE),
please come to the breezeway after the morning worship
service an sign-up at the CCE table. Also, we welcome
those who would like to join the CCE as a tutor. These
services are available to everyone! |

assist in the development of a new monthly historical film
and lecture series? Please come by the CCE table after
the morning worship service to sign up. All Ward High
School Seniors, please come and visit the CCE table to
update us on your college plans. |

Church Anniversary Committee |

Are there any persons who wish to share their
historical pictures with the Anniversary Committee? If
so, please identify the persons, time and place on each
picture and leave them in the church office. All
