Prayer Requests |

Nursery Volunteers and Registration |
|
Pastor Williams and the Nursery Ministry are
prayerfully seeking volunteers to staff the church nursery.
The nursery is tentatively scheduled to open soon,
and we are in need of volunteers. Also, to ensure that
the nursery is adequately staffed, we are requesting that
all parents of children who will attend the nursery (ages
1-6) complete a registration form. |

4th Saturday thereafter at 10:30am, the Nursery Ministry

Bible Study |
|
You are invited to attend one of our
Wednesday Bible Studies. Noon Bible Study has resumed
studying the Acts of the Apostles. Evening Bible
Study, taught by Pastor Williams at 7:00pm, is studying
"Through the Bible in One Year Volume 2" by Stringfellow.

Mid-Year Conference |
|
Mid-Year Conference will be held March
8-13th in Glendale Arizona. The host is Rev.
Benjamin Thomas, Sr. and the Tanner AME Church family.

Annual Black History Concert |
|
The Annual Black History Concert, "A
Perpetual Inheritance: A Celebration of
African-American Music," will be held on Sunday, February
28th at 3:00pm in the sanctuary. The concert,
presented by the Ward Music Ministry together with the Drama
Ministry and the Dance Ministry, will celebrate the rich
heritage of African-Americans through music, drama, and
dance. |

Annual Missionary Day |
|
Mark your calendars for Sunday, February
28th for the Annual Missionary Day. Our guest
speaker will be former Supervisor, the Reverend Rosalyn Kyle
Brookins. The annual Soul Food Luncheon will follow
the service in the Fellowship Hall. |

Feeding Ministry |
|
The feeding schedule for the month of
February is: the Oasis Clinic on February 18th
and our Sick and Shut-in on February 27th. The
initial ministering at the Midnight Mission Homeless Shelter
to serve between 200 and 500 homeless men, women, and
children will be on March 6th. For we are our

Karate classes are held every Saturday from 10:00am to 11:45am
at the World Championship Karate Sports Academy, 2027 West

The second session of the Small Group
Ministry meets every Monday in your local home area.
The Small Group Ministries are studying "Overcoming the
Enemy" by Charles Stanley. For more information about

Scholarship Applications |
|
The Los Angeles Alumnae Chapter of Delta
Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 2010 Scholarships are available
for high school seniors at
www.dstla.org or in the church office. Applicants
must reside in Los Angeles County and have a cumulative GPA
of 3.5 or higher. Deadline is March 15, 2010.

|
Every 3rd Sunday, Blood Pressure Screening will be available
between 9:15am and 9:45am. |

Holy Week Prayer |

Holy Week Prayer will be daily at 6:00am
